Join Us at Table’s 7th Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser
More than a decade ago, Table, a nonprofit providing hunger relief and nutrition education programs to local children, reached out to Grubb Properties and Glen Lennox for our support. We have always been passionate about helping our community, and when we saw the impact Table had on vulnerable kids in our area, we jumped at the opportunity to partner with them.
This Sunday, October 6, we’re proud to sponsor one of our favorite events of the year: the 7th Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser at Weaver Street Market from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Come sample artisanal soups, sandwiches and desserts from more than 20 local restaurants while enjoying live music by Guilty Pleasure, Radio Blue and Blind Rooster. Your ticket also includes a handmade bowl created by a local potter.
As a developer and long-time member of the community, we believe it’s our duty to make Chapel Hill a better place to live and work for everyone. Table’s mission ensures children are well-fed so they can perform better in school, be healthier and more easily succeed in life—outcomes that benefit their families and our community as a whole. Join us in raising proceeds that will feed 750 kids every week across Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Orange County.
