INVEST IN GROWTH. INVEST IN GLEN LENNOX.
Remaking a classic community to fit today’s urban needs.
A successful mid-century modern community in the heart of Chapel Hill, NC has been reimagined into a vibrant, mixed-use development that will serve 21st century needs. It’s opening in 2020 in one of the country’s highest-growth areas.
And you could be a part of it.
Seasoned developer Grubb Properties is calling for accredited investors who want to add to their portfolios while serving the high growth of North Carolina by investing in Glen Lennox. The Research Triangle – Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, NC – has stayed near the top of the country’s population growth charts for decades. The new Glen Lennox enables that growth while retaining its historic, special character.
History
Glen Lennox, one of the first planned communities in the Southeast and the second-oldest shopping center in NORTH CAROLINA, has been a paragon of well-designed mixed-use living since 1950. The mid-century modern classic is considered one of that period’s great legacies.
You wouldn’t know it from within the 70 acres of tree-lined lanes, but Glen Lennox’s 1-mile proximity to downtown Chapel Hill and to the University of North Carolina, placement on a main transit line, and location at the nexus of primary regional arteries NC-54 and US 15-501 put it right in the heart of a new century’s development needs.

The new Glen Lennox
Glen Lennox’s original modern design philosophy infuses the developers’ new vision, ensuring that the community still enables beautiful urban living for residents and responsible growth for North Carolina. Reimagined, it is again a thriving mix of businesses, restaurants and homes. The difference is scale.
The new Glen Lennox is the result of a visionary partnership between municipal, state and private organizations and local residents. It will provide 70 acres of integrated spaces for residents and enterprise alike. Plans for Phase 1 development include 215 apartment homes under Grubb Properties’ Link Apartments® brand, a parking garage, shared open space, and innovative Class-A office space for businesses large, small, or in between.
Walkable green spaces embody the development’s commitment to an integrated community character and to environmentally responsible practices, and buildings will adhere to National Green Building standards.
Grubb Properties has engaged Copenhagenize, a renowned bicycle-oriented urban design firm, to help make Glen Lennox the most bicycle-friendly community in the Carolinas and a national thought leader in mixed traffic design.
